Another interesting post Pat. The mentoring system works really well.

I like your point about “Don’t get too hooked up on methodology.” I’ve often seen this happen, particularly those that are starting in the field or have been practising for a couple of years. I guess it provides a ‘safety net’ of sorts, but it’s so much better when people understand why they’re undertaking a particular research method and what they’re trying to achieve.
