Pat’s Point of View

We just got back from our most excellent honeymoon, on Green Island, near Cairns. That’s far north Queensland for all you foreigners.

It was fantastic. 10 days of relaxation, which was great after the stress and running around of the wedding, especially after planning it for such a long time.

So we did a whole lot of nothing really. Lying around on the beach, bit of swimming and snorkelling (my new favourite sport), watched movies on TV and ate. Mmmmm yes we had breakfast and dinner included and it was fantastic food. Even had a delicious birthday cake on Jenn’s birthday! And the staff were great, I thoroughly recommend Green Island.

True there are a lot of day tourists who come to the island just for the day; actually hundreds and hundreds of them…mostly Japanese…but we normally just stayed indoors during the day.

We’ve got some photos and video, I’ll put the photos up online soon, but for the video you’ll have to come around and watch it on DVD…once we have a house! :)
